Donna Cameron’s films and videos are collected and distributed by the Museum of Modern Art, NY. Cameron holds a U.S. patent for her invention, Cinematic Paper Emulsion.

Exhibitions include 2 new millennium retrospectives, The Museum of Modern Art, NY, “MoMA 2000”, and the Whitney Museum of American Art, NY, “The Color of Ritual, The Color of Thought: Women in Avant Garde Film in America in the 20th Century, (2000); the 52nd (2007) and the 51st (2005) Venice Biennale. She holds a MPS from New York University, a BFA from The Art Institute of Chicago.
Awards include 3 MacDowell Fellowships, 2 Jerome Foundation grants, 2 Jose De Creeft Memorial Awards, and an Elodie Osborne Fellowship in Film and Video. Broadcasts include The Sundance Channel, MTV, Arts at Orensanz Foundation, Public Television, MNN.
